Austria defended me against the Ottomans. Aragon let Naples fall to Pretender Rebels, breaking the union, so I did at least get that.īut I had taken Cagliari off of Aragon earlier, so I was able to fabricate on poor Tunis, whose allies abandoned them. I couldn't expand north because it was still like 1465 so the shadow kingdom hadn't fired. I vassalized Bosnia, but couldn't attack Hungary because of their Austrian alliance or the Ottomans because they're the Ottomans. Since my main two methods of expansion as the Pope got so lucky, I was trying to find somewhere to expand. France then fell into a union under Provence, and were somehow loyal. Aragon almost immediately got a union over Castile - I think Castile must have Disinherited Enrique and then immediately kicked the bucket, which is hilarious.Īragon then attacked France and won - although I took two province off of them in a separate war while they were busy with France. I'm playing the Papal States, and my normal first two targets as them are Aragon and Provence. My first RoM campaign has had the weirdest bad/good luck and I'm loving it so far.
